  Description

  Located on top of an esker ridge in an area of undulating countryside with good extensive views. Raised circular platform (8.5m N-S x 8m E-W; H 0.5 - 1m) enclosed by berm (Wth 2m) defined by a scarp which is particularly evident at E. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Offaly' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
