Description
A number of graves were discovered while ploughing a field here near the tip of the Magharees Peninsula. They were described as having built sides and being covered by large slabs (local information). One contained a 'rather large skeleton' (CKFC 1951). The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 202.
