  Description

  In pasture, on N-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 33m) enclosed by low, grass-covered earthen bank; external fosse survives to S as shallow depression. Break (Wth 8m) in bank to N. Interior saucer shaped. Circular enclosure visible as cropmark of bank and external fosse in aerial photograph (CASAP). Ringfort (CO016-13402-) in adjoining field c. 45m to E.   In pasture, on N-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m) on 1842, 1905 and 1937 OS 6-inch maps. Site appears to have been levelled; close inspection not possible due to hostile animal in field. Arc S->N, formed by cropmark of fosse, visible in aerial photograph (CASAP).   In farmyard, on gentle N-facing slope, commanding view to NW over Moanroe bog with rolling countryside beyond. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; as small subcircular field on 1905 and 1937 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; no visible surface trace; farm building built on a portion of it. Souterrain (CO016-13602-) lies c. 50m to S.
