Detached eight-bay double-height saw tooth-roofed shoe factory, built 1934. Series of eight pitched corrugated-asbestos roofs forming saw tooth-profiled roof with clay ridge tiles, iron-clad polygonal vents to apexes on square-profiled bases, concrete coping, rooflights, and cast-iron rainwater goods having fluted pedestals. Painted roughcast walls with rendered band supporting painted rendered walls to gables. Square-headed window openings with concrete sills, and iron casement windows. Square-headed door openings with three concrete steps, and timber panelled double doors having overlights. Road fronted with concrete footpath to front.

Detached three-bay double-height Gothic-style single-cell Church of Ireland chapel, built 1852. Converted to use as outbuilding, 1970. Pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles, cut-limestone coping to gables having limestone ashlar gabled bellcote to apex to south-west (on limestone ashlar base with pointed-arch aperture having cut-limestone course to spring of arch, bell now missing, and cut-limestone coping to gable having Fleur-de-Lys finial to apex), and cast-iron rainwater goods on carved cut-limestone eaves cornice. Random tooled cut-limestone walls with limestone ashlar stepped buttresses (clasping to corners) having cut-limestone coping. Pointed-arch window openings grouped in three-part arrangement (in tripartite arrangement to chancel; single arrangement to gable to south-west) with cut-limestone block-and-start surrounds having chamfered reveals, hood mouldings over, and fixed-pane fittings having lattice glazing with margins. Pointed-arch door openings (pair of pointed-arch door openings to north-east) with three cut-limestone steps having cast-iron bootscraper, cut-limestone block-and-start surround having chamfered reveals, hood moulding over, and replacement tongue-and-groove timber panelled door in tongue-and-groove timber panel (cut-limestone block-and-start surrounds to north-east having chamfered reveals, hood mouldings over, and replacement tongue-and-groove timber panelled doors in tongue-and-groove timber panels). Group of three detached five-bay two-storey buildings, built 1803, on L-shaped plans about a shared courtyard with nine-bay two-storey returns. Individually renovated. Hipped slate roofs on L-shaped plans with clay ridge tiles, red brick Running bond and rendered chimney stacks, slightly sproketed swept eaves, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves. Painted rendered, ruled and lined walls to front (south-west) elevations on cut-conglomerate stone plinth with rendered stringcourse to ground floor, and painted roughcast walls to remainder having rendered stringcourse to first floor. Square-headed window openings (in round-headed recesses to ground floor front (south-west) elevations) with cut-limestone sills, and replacement uPVC casement windows retaining six-over-six timber sash windows throughout. Square-headed door openings with cut-limestone steps, painted cut-stone block-and-start surrounds having double keystones, and timber panelled doors having overlights. Set back from road in grounds shared with James Stephens (Kilkenny City) Military Barracks about a shared courtyard with painted rendered linking gate screens (comprising round-headed carriageway with round-headed recessed lower flanking openings forming 'Triumphal' tripartite arrangement with rendered stringcourses to spring of arches, rendered keystones, frieze to centre supporting carved cornice having blocking course with raised central panel, and rendered coping to flanking openings), and sections of stone cobbling.

Gateway, built 1803, comprising segmental-headed carriageway with cut-limestone piers, cut-limestone stringcourse to spring of arch, cut-limestone voussoirs having keystone, double gates, frieze supporting carved cut-limestone cornice having blocking course with raised central block, unpainted rendered flanking boundary wall incorporating square-headed blind gateways (probably originally open as pedestrian gateways) with cut-limestone block-and-start surrounds having double keystones, and chamfered coping. Description
Terraced three-bay two-storey house, c.1900, probably incorporating fabric of earlier range, pre-1840, on site. Pitched (shared) slate roof with clay ridge tiles, rendered (shared) chimney stacks, and iron rainwater goods on timber eaves. Unpainted roughcast walls with painted rendered quoins to end. Square-headed window openings with painted sills, and one-over-one timber sash windows. Square-headed door opening with glazed timber panelled door. Road fronted with concrete footpath to front.
