Located on a broad but low N-S ridge. The cropmarks of field boundaries and a road system covering about 25 acres (c. 10 ha) is visible on aerial photographs (MM (5) 30-36; (7) 0-4). Seven ring-ditches, a rectangular enclosure site (WX047-126001-) and a cricular enclosure (WX047-126008-) are also within the field system. Description
Located on a slight SE-facing slope. The cropmark of a rectangular enclosure (dims. c. 36m x c. 30m) defined by a single fosse feature is visible on aerial photographs (MM (5) 30-2; (7) 2-5; ASIAP (266) 30-2; (267) 2, 3; GB89.AP.05) within field system (WX048-126----). Ring-ditch (WX047-126002-) is c. 10m to the SE and ring-ditch (WX047-126005-) is immediately to the NW. Located on a slight SE-facing slope. Located on a low N-S ridge. Aerial photograph (GB89.AP.07) shows a cropmark of a large curvilinear enclosure (diam. c. 50m) defined by a fosse and overlain by a possible trackway. Ring- ditch (WX045-126006-) is at its centre and ring-ditch (WX047-126007-) is just outside the perimeter at N. It is also visible on the OSI series of aerial photographs (2000).
