  Situated on a gently rolling landscape. The cropmark of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) defined by a faint fosse feature is visible on aerial photograph (CUCAP, BDJ 10) with a smaller inner enclosure (diam. c. 10m). It appears to be integrated with an irregular grid of drains. It is not visible at ground level in pasture.   Description

  The fSituated on a gently undulating landscape. The cropmarks of a fragmented field system covering c. 40 acres (10 ha) is visible on aerial photographs (ASIAP (102) 8-20; MM (10) 0) and on digital aerial photographs taken in July 2006 (WX048-113_1 to _6). There are some rectangular fields (dims. c. 30m x at least 50m) defined by single ditch features. Within the system are cropmarks of an enclosure (WX048-113004-), a rath (WX048-113006-), and two ring-ditches (WX048-113002-; WX048- 11306-).   Situated in a gently undulating landscape. The cropmark of portion of a rectangular enclosure (dims c. 40m NE-SW; c. 30m NW-SE) defined by a single fosse feature is visible on aerial photograph (MM (10) 1) and digital aerial photographs (WX048-113_3 to _6) taken in July 2006. It is truncated by a NW-SE field bank at SW and its fosse encounters the fosse of rath (WX048-113005-) at E. It is within the field system (WX048-113----) and it may be a small field. The ring-ditch (WX048-113006-) is c. 20m to the E and its fosse encounters the fosse of enclosure (WX048-113004-) just to the W. It is also visible on the OSi series of aerial photographs (2000). • Farm house, 1700–1840 · Regional interest
  Description

  Detached four-bay single-storey lobby entry thatched farmhouse with dormer attic, extant 1840, on a rectangular plan off-centred on single-bay single-storey gabled windbreak. "Restored", 2003. Part chicken wire-covered replacement hipped oat thatch roof with exposed hazel stretchers to ridge having exposed scallops, cement rendered off-central chimney stack having concrete capping, and exposed hazel stretchers to eaves having exposed scallops. Limewashed rendered battered walls with limewashed rendered battered buttress to rear (east) elevation. Square-headed off-central door opening with concealed dressings framing replacement timber boarded or tongue-and-groove timber panelled door. Square-headed window openings with shallow sills, and concealed dressings framing replacement six-over-six (ground floor) or three-over-six (dormer attic) timber sash windows. Set back from line of road on a corner site with limewashed cylindrical piers to perimeter having rendered domed capping supporting tubular steel "farm gate".
