Description
Marked only on the 1940 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a level landscape with a slightly lower basin c. 50m to the E and NE. It was described in 1939 as a mound of chared stones and black earth (dims c. 8m NW-SE; c. 3.5m NE-SW; H c. 0. 8m) (OSFM). It was not visible at ground level in pasture in 1987. Fulacht fia (WX006-025----) is c. 100m to the SE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). Description

Description
Situated on a level landscape. The cropmark of a bivallate enclosure (max. ext. diam. c. 50m) defined by a wider inner and narrow outer fosse feature is visible on aerial photographs (MM (15) 7–10). It is also visible on Google Earth (14/07/2018). Archaeological testing (19E0808) by c. 30m to the NW at the closest point produced no related material (excavations.ie 2020:060).
