  Description

  Raised circular area (int. diam. 31.4m) enclosed by a low earthen bank and a wide, deep fosse distinguishable from NE-S-W. A laneway skirts the perimeter of the site from NW-N-NE. Original entrance not recognisable. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
