  Description

  Raised circular area (int. dims. 40.2m E-W; 44m N-S) enclosed by an earthen bank and a fosse which is well preserved from NW-W-S and much disturbed elsewhere. Outer face of bank modernised from E-SE and incorporated into the field boundary. Original entrance not recognisable. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
