  Description

  Moved from a rath in Caragagh (CV033-010001-) to present location in the 1940s (1948, 98). Designated 'Remarkable Stone' on OS Fair Plan and 'Cargagh Cross' on subsequent OS ed. Plain 16th or 17th-century wayside cross comprising pyramidal base and short rectangular shaft with chamfered corners and a broken collar piece.   Description

  Raised circular area (int. diam. c. 27m) enclosed by an earthen bank. Original entrance not recognisable. Site was formed by scarping a natural knoll. Bordering the site from SSW-W-NW is a much overgrown, wide, shallow ditch — apparently the remains of a disused laneway.   Small roughly circular island (diam. c. 18m) in Corratinner Lough, c. 20m from the shoreline. Marked on OS 1836 and 1876 eds. • Killinkere Bridge, bridge, 1720–1760 · Regional interest
  Description

  Four-arch rubble stone hump backed bridge, built c.1740, over water channel flowing south. North face rebuilt c.1800 using cut stone elements. Rubble stone abutments with V-cutwaters with splayed rendered tops to both elevations. Segmental arches with rubble-stone soffits having roughly-hewn irregular voussoirs and cutwaters to south face, cut stone arch ring of regular even voussoirs to north face, with higher arches to two north spans. Coursed rubble stone walls to spandrels and parapet on north face, Scotch coping to parapets. Square ends to south wing walls, recent concrete block to north-east wing wall with stepped stone retaining wall below, battered rubble stone retaining wall to north-west.
