Raised oval area (int. dims. 35m NW-SE; 30m NE-SW) enclosed by a bank, absent from N-E, and a fosse identifiable only from SW-N. Original entrance not recognisable. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
