Description
Raised circular area (int. diam. c. 38m) enclosed by the remains of a wide, low earthen bank and a shallow fosse. The site is divided into two roughly equal portions by a roadway aligned NW-SE. From NW-N-NE the bank has been largely levelled and the SE quadrant quarried away. Original entrance not recognisable. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
