Description
On a NW-facing slope of a drumlin. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 48m E-W; 47.9m N-S) defined by an earthen bank and hedge (Wth 5-7m; int. H 0.6-0.8m; ext. H 1.4-2m) which is incorporated into a field bank (Wth 3.5m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.8m) NE-SE, and an outer fosse (Wth of top 7.2-9.7m; Wth of base 3-4.7m; D 0.5-1.2m) NE-S-WSW. There is a ramp entrance (Wth 3m) at W, and the perimeter is quarried (L 13.4m; D 2m) at NW. A field bank (RO022-123----) is attached at SW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010

On a gentle W-facing slope, just SW of rath (RO022-122----). Known only from a distribution map (Herity 1987a, fig. 27, Ardkeenagh 2). A N-S field bank, continued to the N of an E-W field bank by a scarp (L 8m; H 0.8m) to the perimeter of the rath cannot be interpreted as an enclosure.
