PROTECTED STRUCTURE: Permission for development at a site within the Technological University Dublin (TUD) Grangegorman Campus to the south of the Dublin 7 Educate Together Primary School and the Grangegorman Primary Care Centre (including the Former Laundry and Occupational Therapy Building RPS Ref: 3287) and to the north of the TUD Central Quad Building and Greenway Hub Building, Grangegorman Lower, Dublin 7. The site relates to an existing internal access route known as Ivy Avenue which is accessed from Grangegorman Lower. The site is located within the Grangegorman Strategic Development Zone (SDZ). The proposed development will consist of works to the existing internal access route known as Ivy Avenue public realm and adjacent lands. The proposed development seeks to complete areas previously constructed under DCC Reg. Refs. 3373/12 (as extended under 3373/12/X1), GSDZ2264/14 and GSDZ2835/18 and is comprised of: 1. Completion of the surfacing of Ivy Avenue, providing controlled east-west traffic flow; and the opening of the existing closed vehicular access from Grangegorman Lower including the installation of a lifting barrier, a double sliding gate, and traffic calming layout including a raised table crossing; 2. Provision of 3 no. standard car parking spaces, 3 no. accessible parking spaces and a loading bay to the north of Ivy Avenue; 3. Delivery of improved public realm along the northern side of Ivy Avenue, including high-quality paving to match the wider Grangegorman Site, landscaping (including trees and planting), bicycle parking, SUDS features, and lighting; 4. Construction of new open space, including a natural playscape area to the west of the existing Dublin 7 Educate Together School, including play equipment, seating and landscaping; 5. The relocation and re-opening of an existing closed pedestrian gate between the site and Grangegorman Upper, including the removal of inappropriate boundary wall materials and restoration works to the boundary wall (a Protected Structure, RPS Ref. 3281); 6. All development shall take place within a total area of c. 5,322sq.m and is located adjacent to the existing Grangegorman boundary wall (a Protected Structure, RPS Ref. 3281) and HSE Primary Care Centre (former Laundry, a Protected Structure, RPS Ref. 3287), within the Grangegorman SDZ.

PROTECTED STRUCTURE & RETENTION: Permission for development at a site located within the overall Grangegorman Strategic Development Zone (SDZ) of c.28.69ha at Grangegorman, Dublin 7. The specific site of the proposed development is located on the western side of Grangegorman Lower, east of The Top House Protected Structure (RPS No. 3282) and south of The Laundry Building Protected Structure (RPS No. 3287). No works to any of the protected structure is proposed as part of this application. The development consists of modifications to permitted 'Central Quad' - a 5 to 6 storey third level educational building granted under Planning Ref. GSDZ2837/15. The modifications include the following: Increase in height of rooftop mechanical extract flues. Increase in extent and height of screened plant area. Additional lift overruns and balustrades at roof level to allow safe access. Changes to fenestration and venting to facilitate natural ventilation. Minor revisions to elevational design/facades/materials. Additional external facade lighting. Revised bicycle store design to make them fully enclosed. Minor changes to permitted landscaped areas. PROTECTED STRUCTURE: Planning permission for development at a site within the overall Grangegorman Strategic Development Zone (SDZ) of c. 28.69 hectares at Grangegorman, Dublin 7. There are a number of Protected Structures within the Grangegorman SDZ. The specific location of the proposed development comprises c. 0.6920 hectares and is located centrally within the site. The development is for Phase 1 of an Academic Hub comprising change of use and works to North House East (part of 'Top House or North House' (Protected Structure Ref. No. 3282)) and its integration with new build elements to accommodate a library, study areas, administrative offices, exhibition space, café and ancillary facilities with a total gross floor area of c. 10,161 sq.m. The development comprises: A. Permanent change of use of North House East to Library use (905 sq.m.). B. Demolition works, material alterations and interventions to North House East as follows: Demolition of flat roofed single and two-storey structures, of twentieth century construction, on the east side of the protected structure; Demolition of single and two-storey pitched roof extensions to the rear of the protected structure; Demolition of modern glazed entrance pavilion (permitted under DCC Ref. Description
Detached former laundry, built c.1895, comprising four adjoined gabled ranges, boiler house adjoining north-west elevation, gabled block and recent single-storey corridor to south-east elevation. Pitched slate roofs, clerestory windows to three of four ranges, limestone coping, cast-iron rainwater goods, terracotta ridge tiles, moulded yellow brick eaves course. Snecked rock-faced rusticated limestone walls, yellow brick block-and-start quoins, and capping to plinth course. Yellow brick platband at impost level to south-west elevation of south-east block. Blind oculi to apices of gables, yellow brick surrounds. Segmental-arched window openings, yellow brick sill course, voussoirs and surrounds, masonry sills, timber sash windows: six-over-six pane, four-over-four pane, three-over-three pane with tripartite overlights, two-over-four pane, steel rails to some. Timber framed windows to clerestory level. Segmental-arched door openings to north-west elevation, yellow brick voussoirs and block-and-start surrounds, double-leaf timber battened doors. Round-arched door opening to south-east elevation, yellow brick voussoirs, stepped reveal, double-leaf timber battened doors and spoked fanlight.
