  Description

  Raised circular area (int. diam. 28.9m) enclosed by a bank and fosse. Site is divided into two roughly equal portions by a field boundary aligned NE-SW. In the NW field the fosse has been levelled and the bank is slight; in the SE field the fosse is wide and deep and the bank much more substantial. Perimeter incorporated into field boundary from NW-NE. Break in bank with accompanying causeway at SSE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
