Description
Raised circular area (int. dims. 38.4m NNW-SSE; 37.6m ENE-WSW) enclosed by a substantial earthen bank and a well-defined fosse. Break in bank with accompanying causeway at N probably represents original entrance. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
