Description
Cropmark of subcircular enclosure visible on aerial photographs (CUCAP, BDH 62-3). No visible surface remains. Aerial photograph (GB91.EJ.26) shows cropmark of a circular enclosure with a curvilinear annexe attached to the western and southern side, both defined by fosses. The levelled enclosure was photographed as a cropmark on 02 August 1991. The above report has been compiled by Dr. G. F. Barrett and supplied to the Archaeological Survey of Ireland. Description
Situated in a low-lying area with a pond to the N. Rectangular area (dims c. 53m N-S, 56m E-W) defined by a bank (Wth c. 5.9m, ext. H c. 1.45m, int. H c. 0.7m) and external fosse (Wth c. 3.5m) at W. Slight evidence of bank at S and fosse at N. No other visible surface remains.
