  Description

  Situated on low-lying poorly drained land with an old river bed immediately to the W. A low circular mound of burnt material (H 0.35m; diam. 10m N-S; 6m E-W) with a slight hollow depression on top. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
