  Situated in woodland on low rock outcrop in undulating countryside. Natural rock outcrop partially enclosed by an earth and stone bank of field clearance debris from N through E to S. No evidence of an enclosing element from S through W to N. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.   Description

  Listed in the SMR (1992) as an enclousure and in the RMP (1998) as a tree ring site. Field inspection in 1995 established that there were no surface remains visible.   Description

  Situated on high ground with extensive views. An impressive raised circular area (diam. 39m N-S; 50m E-W) enclosed by two earth and stone banks with wide, flat-bottomed intervening fosse (Wth 6m; D 1m) with causewayed entrance at NE. The inner bank (Wth 3.5m; int. H 1m; ext. H 2.3-6m) is the best preserved while the outer bank (Wth 1.5m; int. H 1.7m; ext. H 0.3m) is only visible from SE to S - elsewhere it is destroyed.   Description

  Three-bay two-storey former miller's house on skewed plan, built c.1815, having dormer attic and attached mill buildings to southwest. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks and with blocked dormers to rear slope. Roughcast rendered walls. Timber sliding sash six-over-six pane windows with stone sills. Panelled timber door with spoked fanlight set in round-headed recessed doorway.

  Description

  Water mill, built c.1810, comprising two four-storey blocks, at angle to each other, miller's house attached to northeast and two-storey lean-to structure to west end formerly used as shop. Eight-bay south block higher than four-bay northern block. Slate roofs recently removed. Roughcast rendered limestone walls, having exposed to south elevation and brick surrounds to some openings. Large doorway in west wall of north block. Limestone arch with roughly-dressed voussoirs in west end of rear of south block.
