  Description

  Situated on a flat platform in a poorly drained marshy area with a stream to the N. A barely discernible circular area (diam. 24m E-W) defined by a poorly preserved scarp (H 0.3m) with possible fosse (Wth 3m; D 0.2m) visible from N to NE only.   Description

  Situated on a low rise in an upland area with extensive views in all directions. Indicated as an oval enclosure on the 1st ed. (1840) OS 6-inch map. Not visible at ground level. • TN019-023 Enclosure
  Description

  Situated on top of high ground in an upland area. An irregular-shaped area (diam. 28m E-W) enclosed by a low earth and stone bank (H 0.7m; Wth 1.5m) stone faced at NW with no evidence of an external fosse. A laneway traverses the enclosure on an E-W axis with a silage pit and old farmhouse immediately to the NW. Described (OPW files, 1957) as having an external fosse in places - no longer visible.
