- GA060-109 Enclosure
Description
On level farmland. Marked 3rd ed. of OS 6-inch map (1932) as a wide curving fosse, immediately S of a kink in a laneway which also marks the td. boundary: the configuration suggests that it is defining SW sector of an earthwork which possibly straddled the boundary. According to local information, it was a large 'fort' which was levelled in the early 1970s. All that is now visible is a low oval platform (NW-SE 40m, NE-SW 23m), to SW of the laneway, with slight traces of a wide external fosse (Wth 6m) at W. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'. Compiled by Olive Alcock, Kathy de hÓra and Paul Gosling (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). Date of upload: 05 August 2010

- GA060-163 Ringfort - unclassified
Description
In level grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (E-W 34m, N-S 32m) defined by a bank and external fosse. Traces of a possible outer bank survive at NE. Quarrying has encroached upon the enclosing elements at WSW and from N to E, and a field bank cuts them at S. Entrance causeway at W. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'. Compiled by Olive Alcock, Kathy de hÓra and Paul Gosling (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). Date of upload: 05 August 2010
- GA060-164 Ringfort - unclassified
Description
On a hillock in grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (N-S 30m, E-W 27m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The inner bank survives at E, and elsewhere a scarp forms the enclosing element. The fosse and outer bank survive only at W. Causewayed entrance at NNE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'. Compiled by Olive Alcock, Kathy de hÓra and Paul Gosling (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). Date of upload: 05 August 2010
- GA060-165 Enclosure
Description
On a low hill. Marked on 1st ed. of OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (D c. 20m). No visible surface trace survives: a silage pit now occupies the site. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'. Compiled by Olive Alcock, Kathy de hÓra and Paul Gosling (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). Date of upload: 05 August 2010

- GA060-167 Quarry
Description
On a hill in gently rolling pastureland. No visible surface trace survived of a hachured feature marked on the 1932 edition of the OS 6-inch map on inspection in 1983. Cartographic evidence suggests it was a sand or gravel pit. As it was of post-AD 1700 date it does not come within the remit of the Archaeological Survey of Ireland.
