  Description

  In improved, gently undulating pasture, on a low rise. Sub-circular area (dims. 41m N-S; 40m E-W) defined by an inner bank (overall Wth 6.15-8.4m; Wth at top 1.8-2m; int. H 0.2-0.5m; ext. H 1.6-1.65m) which is reduced to scarp at SW where truncated by quarrying in antiquity. Causewayed entrance (Wth 7m) at ENE. Intervening fosse (overall Wth 6.6-7.45m; basal Wth 2.5-2.65m; D 0.15-0.2m) disturbed by quarrying at SW. Outer bank (overall Wth 3.3-3.8m; Wth at top 1-2.5m; int. H 0.15-0.2m; ext. H 0.2-0.35m) NW-NNE and is possibly incorporated into field boundary ESE-NW. Outer fosse (overall Wth 2.3m; basal Wth 1m; D 0.4m) NW-NNE. Field boundary (overall Wth 2.1m; int. H 0.4m; ext.   Description

  In pasture, on a W-facing slope. Circular area (dims. 34m NE-SW; 32m NW-SE) defined by low bank (overall Wth 9.1m; Wth at top 3.3m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.55m) which is reduced to scarp (Wth 1.5m; H 0.4m) SSE-SSW. Gap (Wth 6m) at NNE. Fosse (overall Wth 4.15-7.95m; basal Wth 1.25-2.9m; D 0.15-0.4m). Outer bank (overall Wth 4.55m; Wth at top 1m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.15m) NE-WSW is best defined NE-SE and is breached (Wth 7m) at ESE.   Description

  On a slightly elevated area, built into bank of enclosure (TS060-068----) at WSW. Remains of rectangular building (dims. 8m E-W; 4.5m N-S) defined by foundation walls (T 0.95m; H 0.15-0.2m) of limestone and crude lime mortar. Entrance (Wth 3m) at E-end, S-side.
