- GA099-172 Ringfort - rath
Description
In flat reclaimed farmland, formerly demesne land. Marked on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a roughly circular enclosure planted with fir trees and named 'Lisnatrap Fort'; on the OS 1:2500 plan (surveyed 1912-16) it is depicted as a walled mixed tree plantation. The wall appears to overlie an enclosing bank from NW to NE and from SE to SW. On inspection in November 1967 the bank was barely perceptible and several old trees were growing along its perimeter (SMR file). On re-inspection in April 1983 no visible surface trace survived, however, its outline is visible on the OSi digitalglobe aerial photograph (Google 2018). Possibly a rath that was subsequently reused as a landscape feature. Compiled by: Olive Alcock Date of upload: 20 June 2019
- GA099-173 Children's burial ground
Description
On a gentle rise in flat reclaimed farmland. This children's burial ground consists of an unenclosed D-shaped area (22m N-S; 13.2m E-W) within which a number of set stones mark graves aligned E-W. A mound of field-clearance rubble surrounds the monument from W to N and a silage pit has encroached upon it at NE. Compiled by: Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG Date of upload: 4 September 2019
- GA099-174001 Ringfort - rath
Description
In undulating grassland. Marked on the OS 6-inch maps as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 34m). When initially visited by the Survey in April 1983 all that survived of this rath was a platform curving from E through S to SW. On re-inspection in March 1987 no visible surface trace survived; it had been levelled as a result of field-reclamation works. However, its outline is visible on the OSi digitalglobe aerial photograph (Google 2018). A field system (GA099-174002-) may be associated. Compiled by: Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG Date of upload: 18 June 2019

- GA107-175 Quarry
Description
On a hillock in pastureland. A hachured feature marked on the 1945 revision of the OS 6-inch map proved on inspection in 1984 to be a quarry indicated by a series of grass-covered mounds and hollows. As it is of post-AD 1700 date it does not come within the remit of the Archaeological Survey of Ireland. Compiled by: Olive Alcock Date of upload: 12 August 2014
- GA107-176001 Chapel
Description
On a hummock in gently undulating grassland. Shown on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map as an L-shaped building that was aligned N-S, with the shorter leg extending westwards off the S end, and named 'R.C. Chapel & Altar'. All that survives is a shallow rectangular hollow (13m E-W, 8m N-S), along the W side of which a short stretch of wall (L >3m, H 0.5m), constructed of small irregularly cut stones, could possibly be the last vestiges of the chapel. According to the landowner this was a penal chapel. No visible surface trace of the altar (GA107-176001-) survives. Compiled by: Olive Alcock Date of upload: 3 April 2020

- GA107-178 Ringfort - rath
Description
On a hummock in undulating grassland. Very poorly preserved circular rath (diam. 24.5m) defined by a bank from SW through W to NW; elsewhere a scarp forms the enclosing element. Traces of a possible external fosse survive at W where a field bank curves around the monument. Another rath (GA107-179----) lies 20m to S. Compiled by: Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG Date of upload: 13 April 2018
- GA107-179 Ringfort - rath
Description
In undulating grassland, some 20m to the S of another rath (GA107-178----). Marked on the 3rd edition of the OS 6-inch map (1945) as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) and known locally as a ‘fort’. All that survives is a roughly subcircular area (43m N-S; 25.5m E-W) defined by a degraded scarp. Traces of a fosse survive from S through W to N. Field banks cut across the monument from W to E and from NNE to SSE. The monument was levelled c. 1950. Compiled by: Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG Date of upload: 13 April 2018
- GA107-180 Ringfort - rath
Description
In undulating grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (47m E-W; 43.5m N-S) defined by a scarp. Traces of an external fosse, indicated by a band of vegetation, are visible from W through N to E. A field boundary cuts through the monument from E to W. To the S of it, the enclosing element is much more poorly defined. Compiled by: Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG Date of upload: 13 April 2018

In undulating grassland overlooking marshy land to the E. Depicted on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a roughly trapezoidal-shaped enclosure named 'fort' in Gothic script. The following is appended in Roman script: 'site of R.C. Chapel'. On the OS 1:2500 plan (surveyed 1912-16) the 'Site of' symbol for the 'R.C Chapel' is shown within the interior of the enclosure. On inspection only a rectangular enclosure (18.5m N-S; E-W 15.5m), in fair condition, was visible. It is defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. No visible surface trace of the outer bank survived along the N side. There was no visible surface trace of the chapel (GA107-181002-) within the interior.
