Description
Situated on a low NE-facing slope of rising ground. A circular area (approx. diam. 45m E-W) enclosed by a drystone wall (H 0.5m) from N to E and an earthen bank elsewhere (Wth 1.5-3m). No evidence of an entrance feature. The interior is heavily overgrown with vegetation making examination impossible. Description
Situated on flat pasture with extensive views. A square-shaped area (dims. 31m N-S; 28m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2.2m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.6-1.5m) reduced to a scarp at N and a wide flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 2.6-3.5m) which has been further widened at the NE angle. Possible causewayed entrance at centre of poorly preserved N bank. Description
Situated on the SW-facing slope of a low natural hillock with extensive views. An oval-shaped area (diam. 35m NE-SW; 27m NW-SE) enclosed by a poorly preserved earth and stone bank (Wth 0.65m; int. H 0.3m) and a shallow external fosse visible from W to N. No entrance feature visible. Field clearance debris is dumped along the perimeter of the bank especially at S where a field fence intersects the site.
