Description
Detached four-bay single-storey lobby entry thatched farmhouse with half-dormer attic, extant 1840, on a rectangular plan off-centred on single-bay single-storey flat-roofed projecting porch. Refenestrated, ----. Reroofed, ----. Chicken wire-covered replacement hipped oat thatch roof with exposed hazel lattice stretchers to decorative raised ridge having exposed scallops, cement rendered off-central chimney stack having red brick corbelled stepped capping supporting terracotta pots, and exposed hazel stretchers to eaves having exposed scallops. Limewashed lime rendered battered walls. Square-headed off-central door opening into farmhouse. Square-headed window openings with concrete sills, and concealed dressings including lintels framing replacement uPVC casement windows replacing two-over-two timber sash windows. Set in landscaped grounds with limewashed cylindrical piers to perimeter having conical capping supporting flat iron "farm gate".

Description
Freestanding single-bay two-stage lighthouse, commissioned 1906, on a circular plan. Sheet iron-covered battered walls in iron frame on braced or buttressed plinth with cast-iron spandrels supporting cantilevered walkway having cast-iron railings centred on cone-topped lantern. Square-headed door opening with rosette-detailed pedimented surround framing timber boarded door. Square-headed window openings with sheet iron-covered sills, and pedimented surrounds framing fixed-pane fittings. Set on mass concrete block battered pier.

Detached six-bay two-storey coastguard station, built 1892, on an L-shaped plan including three-bay two-storey advanced end bay. Occupied, 1911. Closed, ----. Now disused. Hipped slate roof on an L-shaped plan with clay ridge tiles, rendered red brick Running bond chimney stacks having corbelled stepped capping supporting yellow terracotta pots, and replacement uPVC rainwater goods on exposed timber rafters. Part creeper- or ivy-covered fine roughcast walls on red brick header bond chamfered cushion course on red brick Running bond plinth with red brick flush quoins to corners. Square-headed door opening (east) with overgrown threshold, and red brick block-and-start surround framing timber door having overlight. Square-headed window openings with cut-granite sills, and red brick block-and-start surrounds framing one-over-one timber sash windows. Square-headed window openings (east) with cut-granite sills, and red brick block-and-start surrounds framing two-over-two timber sash windows. Set in unkempt grounds.

Description
End-of-terrace three-bay two-storey lighthouse keeper's house, built 1890, on a T-shaped plan centred on single-bay single-storey gabled projecting porch to ground floor. Occupied, 1901; 1911. Sold, 1973. Renovated, ----, to accommodate alternative use. Now disused. One of a terrace of four. Pitched slate roofs including pitched (gabled) slate roof to porch with roll moulded clay ridge tiles, lichen-spotted coping to gables on cut-granite ogee corbel kneelers with rendered chimney stacks to apexes on rendered chamfered bases having chamfered capping supporting terracotta pots, and cast-iron rainwater goods on yellow brick header bond stepped eaves retaining cast-iron square profile downpipes. Rendered walls on rendered chamfered plinth. Square-headed window openings with cut-granite sills, and concealed dressings framing replacement uPVC casement windows replacing six-over-six timber sash windows. Interior including (ground floor): vestibule; door opening into hall with timber surround framing timber panelled door; hall retaining timber surrounds to door openings framing timber panelled doors; and timber surrounds to door openings to remainder framing timber panelled doors with timber panelled shutters to window openings. Set in landscaped grounds.

Description
Detached single-bay (single-bay deep) single-storey gable-fronted lifeboat house or "life saving station", extant 1911, on a rectangular plan. Now disused. Pitched (gable-fronted) slate roof with clay ridge tiles, timber bargeboards to gables on timber purlins, and no rainwater goods surviving on timber boarded box eaves. Red brick Flemish bond walls. Square-headed opening with timber beam lintel framing timber boarded double doors. Square-headed window openings to side elevations with cut-granite sills, and timber lintels framing six-over-six timber sash windows having part exposed sash boxes. Set back from line of road on a corner site with red brick Flemish bond piers to perimeter having chamfered capping supporting flat iron double gates.
