Description

Description
In pastureland. Marked on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m). When McCaffrey (952, 150, no. 73) carried out his survey he recorded that this monument was 'Not present'. No visible surface trace survives. Description
In level pastureland. Poorly preserved circular cashel (diam. 31.3m) defined by a drystone wall. A field wall overlies the enclosing element throughout. Description
Redington (1916, 53-4) refers to a souterrain within the cashel (GA096-022----) that was 'said to be of three rooms' and had been filled in. McCaffrey (1952, 150, no. 74) could find no trace of it.
