  Description

  In rough area of improved, level pasture. An oval area (dims. 27m WSW-ENE; 23m NNW-SSE) defined by the remains of a levelled bank (overall Wth 5.1m; Wth at top 3m; int. H 0.05m; ext. H 0.15m) and possible fosse (Wth 3.35m; D 0.15m) from SE-NW and by a densely overgrown field boundary from NW-SE. There are rushes growing within the level interior which is poorly drained. • TS059-050 Enclosure
  Description

  In improved pasture, with evidence of drainage activity. Remains of a sub-oval area (dims. 36m NW-SE; 28m NE-SW) defined by traces of a levelled bank (overall Wth 6.2m; Wth at top 2.4m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.15m) from W-SE and levelled scarp (Wth 2.3m; H 0.45m) which has been straightened across the SW sector. There are distinct gaps (Wth 5m and Wth 4m) in the bank at the NE and ESE respectively. A shallow, linear drain (max. Wth c. 1m) and a bank of up-cast material from same, bisects the monument from NNE-SSW. A spring well is fenced off to the S and it has a holding tank adjacent to the W. • TS059-196 Enclosure
  Description

  In pasture with a stream rising c. 100m to the SE. A roughly circular enclosure (overall diam. c. 50m), defined by a fosse, visible on satellite imagery (Google Earth satellite imagery, 20 January 2020), identified and reported by Jean-Charles Caillère. The enclosure is not indicated on the 1st (1840) or 2nd (1904) ed. OS 6-inch map, but a small pond (dims. c. 16m x 12m) is indicated on the 2nd ed. map and is visible on the satellite imagery in the interior of the W sector, near the outer edge. A field boundary runs roughly N-S along the W side of the enclosure and appears to be kinking out to respect it. There is an enclosure (TS059-046----) located c. 170m to the NNW and another enclosure (TS059-050----) c. 315m to the SSE.
