Description
Situated on a rise in a gently undulating landscape. A subcircular enclosure (diam. c. 50m) is visible as a cropmark defined by a wide fosse feature (Wth c. 2-4m) on aerial photograph (CUCAP, BDJ 9). It has an entrance gap at SE and is also visible on aerial photographs (ASIAP (5) 14-16), but it is not visible at ground level in a cereal crop. Description
Marked as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a fairly level landscape. The site is now occupied by bungalow but the arc of scarp (H 0.8m) is visible S-W (C 34m). Standing stone (WX048-048001-) is 55m to the W.
