Description
Situated on the crest of a slight NW-facing slope. The cropmark of a subcircular area (dims. c. 75m NE-SW; c. 65m NW-SE) defined by a single fosse feature with an entrance gap at NE is visible on aerial photographs (ASIAP, WX 73, 1-2). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). Description
Single-arch road bridge over stream, extant 1903. Part creeper- or ivy-covered coursed or snecked rubble stone walls with lichen-spotted rock faced cut- or hammered limestone coping to parapets. Single segmental arch with lichen-spotted rock faced limestone ashlar voussoirs. Sited spanning stream with overgrown banks to stream.
