Description
Situated on high ground. A circular area (diam c. 45m), defined by a low earthen bank (Wth c. 1.5m, max. H c. 0.5m) and a stone wall at SW. No other visible surface remains. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
