  Description

  Situated on low-lying ground on either side of the R209 Keshcarrigan to Fenagh road. Two small features described in italic lettering as 'Graves' are indicated only on the 1835 edition of the OS 6-inch map. There is no other information, and no evidence of burials at the roadside. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 23 September 2008

  Description

  Detached four-bay two-storey vernacular house, built c.1860, with single-storey extension to south. Formerly a pair of two-bay houses. Pitched reed thatched roof with rendered chimneystacks. Roughcast rendered stone walls. Replacement timber and glazed doors and replacement timber sash windows. Located on riverbank with fairgreen located to south of house.

• Keshcarrigan Vocational School, college, 1930–1940 · Regional interest
  Description

  Detached L-plan seven-bay single-storey vocational school, built 1935. Closed, 1969. Now disused. Extension to rear. Hipped slate roof with terracotta ridge tiles, rendered chimneystacks and profiled cast-iron rainwater goods. Pebbledashed walls. Timber sash windows. Pedimented entrance with timber panelled and glazed double doors and eight-pane overlight. Sheds to north. Wrought-iron gates to front of site.
