Description
Towards the W end of a low E-W drumlin ridge. D-shaped overgrown area (dim. c 25m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4-5m; int. H 0.4-0.9m; ext. H 0.7-1.2m) and outer fosse (Wth of top 4-5m; D 0.3-1m) NW-NE, and by straight field banks elsewhere, especially E-W at S. There is no visible entrance. Rath (RO011-159----) is c. 140m to the ENE. Description
On a low-lying landscape between drumlins. Circular grass-covered area (diam. c. 32m) defined by an overgrown and gapped earthen bank (Wth 3.5-4.5m; int. H 0.2-0.5m; ext. H 0.9-1.3m) with internal facing stones N-S-W, and a scarp (H 1m) elsewhere, with an outer fosse (Wth of top 3m; D 0.1-0.2m) NW-N. There is no recognizable entrance. On an E-facing slope at the E end of a low E-W drumlin ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. c. 24-25m) defined by a barely discernible scarp (H 0.2-0.7m). There is no visible fosse or entrance.
