Description
Visible as a large circular feature (diam. c. 70-80m) defined by an arc of a low bank S-W-N and at E on aerial photograph (CUCAP: AVI, 27), and situated on top of a rise on a broad plateau. Description
On an undulating landscape on top of a broad N-S plateau. An area of about 5 acres (c. 2 ha) has field banks creating small rectangular fields (dims c. 30m x 40m) defined by low banks (Wth 2-4m; H 0.2-0.4m) visible on aerial photographs (CUCAP: AV1, 24-26) which are still extant.
