Description
At the W end of a low E-W ridge. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 38m NW-SE; 18.5m NE-SW) defined by a gapped and overgrown earthen bank (Wth 5.5m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.8m) SW-NNW, reduced to a scarp (H 1.5m) SSE-SW, and an outer fosse (Wth of base 6.7m; D 0.6m) S-WSW. The monument is bisected by a NW-SE field wall and no feature is visible NE of this. Description
At the W end of a low E-W drumlin ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 27.2m N-S; 25.8m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 1.05m at N to 1.5m at W), with spoil on the perimeter at N. There is no visible fosse or entrance. A rectangular depression (dims 7m NE-SW; 3.5-4m NW-SE; D 0.5m) in the interior at SW may be a souterrain (RO017-127002-). Description

Description
At the E end of a low E-W drumlin ridge. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 39m E-W; 36.5m N-S) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 3m at NE to 4.9m at S; int. H 0.4-0.7m; ext. H 1-1.5m) WSW-NNW, and at NE and S, but reduced to a scarp (H 0.75m at SE to 1.5m at SW) ESE-SW. There is no visible fosse or entrance, and the perimeter at N is damaged by a sheep-pen. Description
At the W end of a low E-W drumlin ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 26.3m E-W; 25.4m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 6.3m at E to 8.2m at N; int. H 0.4-0.7m; ext. H 0.3m at E to 1.1m at N) N-SE which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.5m at S to 0.9m at W) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or entrance. Rath (RO017-127001-) is c. 20m to the SE. Description
In 1996 drainage works on the W-E Carrow River just before it enters Lough Laure uncovered a human skull which was acquired by NMI (1996: 34). Subsequently, in July 1998, further human remains were recovered in dredging operations, including a skull which was thought to be that of a female and which was also acquired by NMI.
