Description
On the crest of a NNW-SSE esker ridge. Oval, slightly domed grass and scrub-covered area (dims 37m NNE-SSW; 30m WNW-ESE) defined by a stone spread (at NNE: Wth 6m; int. H 0.3; ext. H 0.7m), with traces of facing-stones SSE-SSW (at SSW: original Wth of wall 2m). There is an entrance at S. It is slightly truncated by a N-S field wall at W and an E-W field wall at S. Description
Marked as a rectangular embanked enclosure (ext. dims c. 25m x 20m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and as a circular enclosure (ext. diam. c. 50m) on the 1915 ed. Situated on knoll on an E-facing slope, it is not visible at ground level in pasture within a subcircular field (dims x. 50m x c. 50m) defined by drystone walls. Description
Marked only on the 1915 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (ext. diam. c. 55m), and situated on an E-facing slope in an undulating landscape. An arc of facing stones survives SSE-W and may be the revetting of a bank or a wall but much of it is obscured by field stones. Description
On the crest of a slight NNE-SSW ridge. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 30.5m E-W; c. 15m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (at ENE: Wth 3.5m; int. H 0.35m; ext. H 1m) W-N-E, with slight traces of a fosse WNW-N and ENE-E (Wth of base 2.3m). The entrance (Wth 2.8m) is at NNE. Description
Marked only on the 1915 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m), and situated on a slight rise in a low-lying landscape. This is a subcircular grass and scrub-covered area (dims c. 35m E-W; c. 30m N-S), with an arc of a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 4m; H 0.5m) but no visible facing-stones E-SSW. Description
On a slight knoll on an E-facing slope. Subcircular area planted with young deciduous trees (int. dims 25m E-W; 21.2m N-S) defined by a stone spread (Wth 3-3.5m; H 0.3m) with internal and external facing-stones (at SSW: original Wth 1.9m), best preserved at SE and SW, but the outer edge of the perimeter is overlain by a field wall SW-N-SE and the perimeter is slightly truncated by an E-W field wall at S. There is a break (Wth 6m) in the perimeter E-ESE but the original entrance cannot be positively identified.
