Description
On a shoulder of a S-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 32.5m NNE-SSW; 29.3m WNW-ESE) defined by a flat-topped earth and stone bank (Wth of base 3-5m; Wth of top 0.7-0.9m; int. H 0.55-0.7m; ext. H 1-1.75m), with slight traces of an outer fosse (Wth of base 2.8m) W-NW. There is no identifiable original entrance and the perimeter is overlain by a stone wall S-W, while the interior is overlain by a NW-SE field wall SW of the centre. Rath (RO047-011001-) is c. 140m to the NE and rath (RO047-040002-) is c. 70m to the SW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010

Description
Marked as a large oval area (dims c. 75m NW-SE; c. 60m NE-SW) only on the 1915 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a shoulder of a S-facing slope. It is visible on aerial photographs (CUCAP: APH 40-42) as a large slightly domed area (diam. c. 60m) defined by an earthen bank and outer fosse with entrances at N, E and S. The interior was overlain by some field banks of field system (RO047-040003-). It was reclaimed in the late 1960s and is no longer visible at ground level in pasture. Description
On a S-facing slope. A grass-covered area of about 4.5 acres (c. 2 ha) with old field walls creating subrectangular fields (dims c. 60m x c. 40m) which are associated with lazy-beds is visible on aerial photographs (CUCAP: APH 40-2) between the raths (RO047-040001-) and (RO047-040002-).
