Description
Visible on aerial photograph (OS: 4/2052), and situated on the N-facing slope of an E-W spur overlooking a W-E stream. A triangular area of c. 2 ha (c. 2.5 acres) contains small fields or paddocks (dims c. 30m x c. 20m) on terraces down to the stream. Concentric enclosure (RO022-075001-) is c. 100m to the SW. Description
On a slight E-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 44.4m WNW-ESE; 39m NNE-SSW) defined by an earthen bank with some scrub (Wth 3-4m; int. H 0.3-0.6m; ext. H 0.3-0.6m) SE-W-NW where it was incorporated into a field bank, now removed beyond the monument, and at NNE (Wth 4m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.8m), but the perimeter is reduced to a scarp (H 0.5m) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010

Description
Identified by J. O'Donovan in the 1830s (O'Flanagan 1931, vol. 2, 19), it is situated on the S-facing slope of a drumlin, and is known locally as a church site. An arc (C 20m) of an earthen bank (Wth 3.5m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.3m) survives N-E, but it is truncated by a NW-SE field bank at SW, with a quarry on the SW side.
