Description
Visible on aerial photograph (OS: 4/2050), and situated on a slight E-W rise on the floor of a valley with a small W-E stream c. 10m to the N. Circular grass-covered platform (diam. 22.5m N-S; 20.3m E-W) sloping down to the N (H of slope 1.6m) defined by a low earthen bank (Wth 3m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.5-0.7m) SE-W and a scarp (H 0.4m at W to 1.6m at N) elsewhere, with a fosse (Wth 2-3m) visible as a band of reeds NW-SSE. The entrance (Wth2.8m) is at S, and the perimeter is damaged by an old quarry W-N. Rath (RO022-066002-) is 14m to the SE. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010

Visible on aerial photograph (OS: 4/2050), and situated on a slight E-W rise on the floor of a valley with a small W-E stream c. 25m to the N. D-shaped grass-covered platform (dims c. 36m N-S; 33m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 1.4-1.5m) SW-W-NE, and by a fosse (Wth of top 6m; int. D 0.4m; ext. D 0.1m) on the straight E side (L 10m), but the perimeter merges into the slope SE-SW. There is no visible entrance, and the fosse is represented by a berm (Wth 3.5m) NW-NE. Description
Visible on aerial photograph (OS: 4 2052-3), and situated on a SE-facing slope overlooking Lough O'Donnellan, a sub-oval lake (dims c. 160m NW-SE; c. 100m NE-SW), which is c. 100m to the SE. This is a rectangular grass-covered area (dims 22m E-W; 22m N-S) defined by earthen banks (Wth 2m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.5m). There is no visible entrance, and it is bisected diagonally by a NE-SW field wall while its N and E sides are incorporated into relict field banks. Description
Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1860, with projecting entrance bay and canted bay windows to side elevations. Hipped slate roof with rendered chimneystacks, cast-iron rainwater goods and bracketed over-sailing eaves. Roughcast-rendered walls. Venetian window above entrance, Wyatt window to ground floor and canted bay windows to side elevations, all having timber sliding sash windows and limestone sills. Square-headed doorway, accessed by steps, with timber panelled double-leaf door and overlight. Multiple-bay single-storey outbuilding to west of house with pitched slate roof and stone chimneystack. Random coursed stone walls with render and buttresses. Square-headed doorways and carriage arch openings. Pump to front of outbuilding. Decorative wrought-iron gate flanked by stone piers and sweeping walls.
