  Description

  Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a small oval enclosure (dims 18m N-; c. 10m E-W), and situated on a shelf of the E-facing slope of a drumlin. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 18m NE-SW; c. 10m NW-SE) defined by a scarp (H 0.2-1m) NE-S-SW which merges into the slope elsewhere. Rath (RO007-004----) is c. 150m to the NE. • RO007-004 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  On the lower W-facing slope of a drumlin. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 27.5m-28m) defined by a gapped earthen bank (Wth 3.3-3.5m; H 0.2-0.3m) E-S, an external scarp (H 0.2m generally to 0.9m at W) S-NW and a scarp down to the interior (H 0.5m at E) N-E. There is no visible fosse but the entrance (Wth 4m) is at SE, and the perimeter is truncated slightly by a NE-SW field bank at NW. Enclosure (RO007-003----) is c. 150m to the SW.   Description

  On top of a drumlin. Circular grass and scrub-covered area (diam. 31m E-W), which remains unplanted in a mixed wood, defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5-6m; int. H 0.15-0.9m; ext. H 1.1-1.4m) S-NNW and scarp (H 1-1.2m) N-E-SSE, with an outer fosse (Wth of top 4.5m; D 0.1-0.2m) at NW and SE. There is no identifiable original entrance.
