Description
Situated on a NNE-facing slope in hilly, coastal pasture. Raised circular area (diam. 21.2m) enclosed by a bank of earth and stone (Wth. 5.6m; int. H 0.4m - 1.4m). From WSW-W-NNW the perimeter and a small portion of the interior have been levelled as a consequence of the construction of a modern NNW-SSE field boundary. No fosse. Entrance, originally stone-lined, is at ESE (Wth. c.2.2m). A short distance inside the field boundary at WNW is a slightly raised house platform (SL013-037001-). At the centre of the interior of the rath are two low linear banks of earth and stone (Wth. 1.3m; H 0.3m) at right angles to each other. The first (L c.2.1m) is aligned NNE-SSW. The second (L c.2.3m) is at the NNE end of the first. The significance of this feature is uncertain. Compiled by: Patrick F. O'Donovan Date of upload: 19 January 2011

Description
Situated on broad rise in gently undulating pasture. Access to the souterrain is via a roughly square hole (dims. 1m N-S; 1.35m E-W) in the field surface. The entrance gives access to a roughly circular chamber (diam. 4m; H 1.6m) lined with un-mortared limestone rubble. The roof is corbelled. A lintelled opening (Wth 0.4m; H 0.4m) at the base of the chamber wall at E gives access to a passage that appears to extend in an easterly direction. Compiled by: Mark Keegan Date of upload: 19 January 2011
- SL013-115001 Field boundary
Description
Not included in the SMR (1989) but listed in the RMP (1995) and classified 'Field Bank(s)'. This area is traversed by a number of now relict field boundaries that are shown on the 1913 edition of the OS 6-inch map to the NNW of souterrain (SL013-043---). These appear no different than other boundaries in the area and do not appear to be of any great antiquity. Compiled by: Patrick O'Donovan Date of upload: 27 January 2011
