Description
The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Shown on 1839 'OS 6-inch' map as lozenge-shaped raised area (dims. c. 65m N-S x 40m E-W) and on 1908 ed. map as woodland. Now cleared. No visible surface traces.
