In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Circular area (diam. c. 25m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.8m, ext. H 2.5m; Wth 5m). Fosse now filled with boulders. Gap with causeway at SSW probably original.

In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of revision: 30 June 2011 Revised by: Claire Breen Historic Monument No. HM00330, this monument was entered in the Register of Historic Monuments on the 01 August 1989. Present remains consist of: (A) solid wheeled early medieval (eighth to tenth century) cross head with figure and decorative panel and section of shaft with interlace panel (CW016-032003-); (B) large granite boulder with two conical bullauns (CW016-032004-); (C) spud stone (CW016-032005-); (D) water stoup (CW016-032008-); (E) large granite boulder with rectangular socket, probably cross base (CW016-032006-); (F) large granite boulder with single bullaun (CW016-032007-). Remaining foundations of rectangular church (min. L 14m E-W; Wth 6.9m N-S) removed in 1989. The church is associated with a graveyard (CW016-032002-).

Associated with Kildreenagh Church (CW016-032001-), the remaining foundations of which were removed in 1989. The extent of this graveyard is not in indicated on any edition of the OS 6-inch maps.   The head and part of the shaft of a high cross are built into a field fence. Christ and depictions of David are present on the head and the shaft is decorated with interlace and roll mouldings.   Description

  A small stone (diam 0.1m; D 0.12m) with a circular cavity probably a spud stone and a large boulder (L 1.5m; Wth 0.9m; H 0.85m) with a deep rectangular hollow were discovered during an inspection carried out in February 1989 following the removal of the remains of the church (CW016-032001-).
