Description
This bridge, spanning the Dalgan River, straddles the Mayo/Galway border. In Galway the bridge is located in Kinnakinelly townland and is recorded under the number GA004-036----. An NIAH survey of the bridge (NIAH Reg. No. 30400401) describes it as follows: ‘Narrow hump-backed nine-arch limestone bridge, built c. 1725. Walls of coursed rubble limestone with tall arches, round to west, downstream side, and pointed round to east side, having thin roughly cut voussoirs. Renovated recently with new pointing and cement copings and with insertion of metal tie rods and plates to northern four arches. Description

Walls of coursed rubble limestone with tall arches, round to west, downstream, side and pointed round to east side, having thin roughly cut voussoirs. Renovated recently with new pointing and cement copings and with insertion of metal tie rods and plates to northern four arches. Upstream side has tall cutwaters with concrete or rendered caps in which pipe has been carried.

Description
Nine-arch hump back road bridge over river, extant 1838. Part ivy-covered walls centred on triangular cutwaters to piers to upriver (east) elevation having pyramidal capping with lichen-covered "saddleback" coping to parapets. Series of nine round or segmental arches between cast-iron "Pattress" tie plates with repointed voussoirs. Sited spanning Dalgan River with unkempt grass banks to river.

Description
Detached five-bay two-storey over part raised basement house with dormer attic, extant 1786, on a rectangular plan. Sold, 1851. In ruins, 1923. For sale, 2008. Pitched roof now missing with chimney stacks having lichen-covered cut-limestone capping, and no rainwater goods surviving on limestone flagged eaves. Fine roughcast coursed rubble limestone battered walls with hammered or squared limestone flush quoins to corners. Square-headed openings with hammered or squared limestone lintels supporting squared limestone voussoirs. Interior in ruins. Road fronted with unkempt grass verge to front.
