Description
On the E-facing slope of a drumlin. Oval grass-covered area (dims 32m N-S; 26.5m E-W) defined by an earthen bank and hedge (Wth 4.5m at S to 5.8m at N; int. H 0.2m at S to 0.85m at N; ext. H 1.45-1.6m) separated by a fosse (Wth of top 5.2-6.3m; D 0.5-0.85m) from an outer earthen bank (Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.2-0.65m; ext. H 0.1-0.65m), which survives N-SE and at SW. The entrance (Wth 3.5m) and causeway are at E. An NE-SW field bank overlies the fosse and outer bank at S. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010

Description
On a shelf which is on a gentle NE-facing slope. It is not marked on any edition of the OS 6-inch map. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. c. 28m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.1m at W to 6m at NW; int. H 0.2-0.65m; ext. H 0.45-0.65m) SW-NW and a scarp (H 0.2-0.4m) elsewhere, with an outer fosse (Wth of base 3m; D 0.2-0.45m) SW-WNW. A NW-SE field bank and drain cut the interior towards the perimeter at NE. Description
Marked as an oval feature (dims c. 30m N-S; c. 20m E-W) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a low-lying, level landscape. Circular overgrown area (diam. c. 23m E-W) defined by a grass and scrub-covered stone spread (Wth 4m; H 0.3-0.8m) NE-S-NW, which is overlain by a drystone wall SW-W. There is no visible entrance. Description
Marked on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map where it is described in italic lettering as `Old Corn Kiln', and situated in a hollow. There is no other information and it is not visible at ground level in pasture. There is no reason to believe it is anything other than a disused early modern corn-drying kiln.
