  Description

  Marked as a D-shaped field (dims c. 90m NE-SW; c. 75m NW-SE) with the straight side at the SE on the 1837 and 1929 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and situated towards the bottom of an E-facing slope. An arc (C 72m NE-SW) of a grass-covered stony bank (at N: Wth 5.6m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.3m) SW-W-NE surmounted by a drystone wall surrounds a farmyard, but while there is a local tradition of its use as a childrens' burial ground (RO021-043002-) there is no evidence of burial. • RO021-044 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  Marked only on the 1929 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a circular feature (diam. c. 40m) and situated towards the bottom of the N-facing slope of a low NW-SE ridge. It was described in 1963 as a sub-rectangular area defined by a slight bank and wide fosse (SMR file). It is not now visible at ground level in pasture, but is visible as a circular area (int. diam. c. 45m N-S; c. 40m E-W) defined by what might be two fosse features on OSI aerial images (2005, 2018).   Description

  Marked only on the 1929 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on the crest of a low NW-SE ridge. Circular, flat-topped and grass-covered mound (diam. of base 13m NW-SE; diam. of top 7m NE-SW; 6.8 NW-SE; H 1.4-1.6m) surrounded by a fosse (Wth of base 1.8m; D 0.2m) E-S which is visible as a band of rushes (Wth 2-3m) S-N, but the fosse and the base of the mound are truncated by a WNW-ESE road bank at NE (max. ext. diam. 20.5m NW-SE).
