Description
At the NE-facing crest of a broad NW-SE ridge, and known locally as Temple Maoil. This is a rectangular structure (int. dims 7m E-W; 6.45m N-S) defined by an earthen bank with facing stones at N (Wth 1.3m; H 0.1-0.3m) and W (Wth 0.7m; H 0.2m) and slight scarps elsewhere. There are slight traces of a cell (int. dim 2m E-W) attached to the E. It is protruding from a mound (dims 16.8m E-W; 13m N-S; H 0.3m E-S to 0.7m at N) which was used as a childrens' burial ground (RO020-058003-), but there is no evidence of an enclosure or burial. Description
At the NE-facing crest of a broad NW-SE ridge. What was probably a Bowl Food Vessel (diam. of top c. 12.7cm; H c. 12.7cm) with a convex waist was found in a stone-lined cist together with cremated bone in 1926. The material was not recovered, and the precise location is not known but it was within 50m of Teampal Maoil church (RO020-058001-) (NMI file, 1926). Description

According to local information the church (RO020-058001-) was used as a childrens' burial ground into the 20th century, but there is no evidence of an enclosure or burial.
