Description
On a gentle S-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 90m E-W; 85m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.9-4.2m; int. H 0.4-0.55m; ext. H 1.3-1.4m) NW-NE and by a scarp (H 0.3-0.4m) elsewhere, with a rounded fosse (Wth of base 2m; D 0.55-0.85m) WNW-NNW. It is overlain by a NNE-SSW field bank towards the perimeter at NW.
