  Description

  Marked as a hachured feature only on the 1915 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated at the crest of the N end of a low NNW-ESE ridge. Oval grass-covered area (dims 53m N-S; c. 36m E-W) defined by slight traces of a fosse (at W: Wth of top 6.3m; int. D 0.35m; ext. D 0.35m) S-W-NE with a slight scarp (H 0.2m) elsewhere.   Description

  On a gentle ENE-facing slope, with a house c. 150m to the ESE. Oval drystone-built structure (int. dims 1.4m N-S; 1.1m E-W; max.
