  Description

  At the W end of a slight E-W ridge. Circular grass-covered area (int. diam. 38.5m E-W; 36.5m N-S) defined by a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 1.7m at N to 4.2m at W; int. H 0.2m at S to 0.6m at N; ext. H 0.2m at S to 0.6m at W). A gap (Wth 4m) at S may be an enlarged original entrance. A N-S relict field wall, visible as a grass-covered stone spread (dims 15m N-S; 2m E-W; H 0.2m), overlies the N interior, and a modern drain skirts the perimeter at E.   Description

  At the NE end of a low NE-SW ridge. Circular grass and rush-covered area (diam. 34.5m N-S; 33.5m E-W) defined by a gapped earthen bank (Wth 3-3.6m; int. H 0.2-0.45m; ext. H 0.55-0.8m), with an outer fosse (Wth of top 3m; Wth of base 2-2.5m; D 0.2m) S-W. There is no identifiable original entrance, but an ENE-WSW field bank and drain overlie the monument towards the perimeter at N. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
