  Description

  At the bottom of a SW-facing slope with poorly drained ground to the S and W. Circular scrub-covered area (diam. 37.6m NE-SW; 36.8m NW-SE) defined by an overgrown earth and stone bank (Wth 3-5m; int. H 0.1-0.7m; ext. H 1.3-1.8m) and a rounded fosse (Wth of top 3.6m at SW to 5.2-6.3m generally; Wth of base 1.2-3m; D 0.3-0.45m SE-SW to 1.1-1.3m NW-NE). There is an entrance (Wth 6m) and causeway at ENE. A NW-SE field bank abuts the fosse at W and S, and a NW-SE field bank is c. 5m to the NE. Fulacha fia (RO044-119----; RO044-120----) are c. 140m to the NW and c. 90m to the NNW respectively, and fulachta fia (RO044-121001-; RO044-121002-) are c. 35m to the S. • RO044-026001 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 40m) on the 1837 and 1915 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a slight shelf of a SW-facing slope. Described in 1972 as a circular area (diam. 36m E-W; 35m N-S) defined by an earth and stone bank, with an outer fosse E-SW. A NE-SW field bank and townland boundary cut the E part of the monument and a field bank and townland boundary between Killeenadeema and Toberconor ran SE from this. The original entrance was at S.   Description

  On a slight shelf of a SW-facing slope. Described as a subcircular area (dims 35m E-W; 27m N-S) defined by a slight earth and stone bank, with traces of an outer fosse S-W (Gannon 1972).   Description

  In a shallow marshy basin at the bottom of a SW-facing slope. Circular mound (diam. 6m N-S; 6.5m E-W; H 0.2m) now bisected by a WNW-ESE forestry drain revealing burnt stones in a black matrix.   At the base of SW-facing slope. U-shaped grass-covered mound (Wth 4.5-5m; H 0.2m) open to the W (max. dims c. 15m N-S; c. 12m E-W) composed of burnt and broken stones.
